This project was for a Christian band looking to rebrand their logo and color scheme.
Their original logo was simple but lacked any defining and recognizable features.
After taking with the band and creating a mood board full of art they found inspiring,
I collected a few fonts that I thought matched the style the band was looking for.
I chose this font because I felt that it embodied the edgy yet classic look the band was looking for. I also gave them several examples of variations of the logo. This helped them see the potential of the font and the new logo.
I also put together three colors the band could use that would accent their love for black and white simplicity. The textures pictured are also used for picture overlays or backgrounds for instagram posts.
These are merchandise product mock-ups for the band. These helped the band see the font in a potential physical product.
This was a great project to work on and the band was happy with their designs. They asked me to create a "song battle" for their instagram page. This was a great opportunity for me to work on my social media management skills.
I created a battle board for each round (pictured is the final round) featuring each of the band's songs. Their followers voted in the comments on Facebook and Instagram of each post.
Followers also voted through an instagram poll. This was their main source of interaction.
I kept track of all user activity in an excel document that had each follower's username and their vote. This insured that no follower's vote was counted twice.
After each round I would update the battle board and create new polls for their instagram stories.
